I printed our Christmas Cards on a shimmery pearl paper this year, from my photo lab, and I love how they turned out! While I do think sites like Snapfish or TinyPrints are great, it bugs me that they put their logo plastered all over it, so I usually design/print my own. If you ever want a custom card for invitations, birth announcement, holiday, etc then just holler!

It was so fun to step out of my children photography comfort zone, and change things up with a wedding.
I met Ashlee a few days before her wedding, and I knew she would be fun to photograph. Weddings make me nervous since you get 1 chance to capture the day, and there is always the possibility of dealing with a bridezilla. Ashlee was so casual and chill and classy.
This was honestly the ONE day it has rained in Los Angeles all year, we were all flabbergasted. The sky in Santa Monica was completely gray and dreary but that didn't stop these lovebirds.
Ashlee & Jordan must have some powerful prayers because the rain stopped for a few minutes when they came out of the LDS Temple, and we were able to get some family shots.
Then we trompped around with an umbrella and they were troopers, no bridezilla here! They are the most relaxed and chill couple and it was really such a pleasure snapping their pictures.
THE RECEPTION | CAMARILLO, CA
Back in Camarillo that afternoon it was all blue skies (yay!) and they had a lovely small reception at the Brentwood Banquet Center at the Stirling Hills Country Club.
THE WEDDING PARTY
The Groomsmen...also great.
Since I'm a natural light photographer, I was originally just going to stay until the sun went down around 5pm and get some group shots, but it was such a swinging party (photo booth, hot chocolate bar, buffet) that I ended up staying a little longer. Fun times.
